  3. Tucker and Dale is such a fun time.

Yessss I liked it even more on second watch! Just wish there was more of reveal to the killer, like let us think it's the neighbor for a little while before finding out it's an escaped mental patient!

Second movie is When Evil Lurks and man...just so, so good. Like, it introduces such interesting rules into its world and they are kind of redundant and make no sense but the movie is literally so sick that I don't even care lol

I’ve been meaning to watch it for a while and I’m really digging it and it being so fucking ruthless lol

  5. I think I mentioned this in my original review, but it developes its characters so well. I am famously not a fan of The Mist, which I know is kind of a hot take around here, but while that movie's ending feels bleak for bleak's sake ("this movie is so fucked up bro"), this one feels like it truly earns its direction and tone. The story, the characters, the performances, it's just all so well-done. You root for the characters but also understand why their fate befalls them instead of it feeling like the writer/director is just playing a cruel joke on the characters.

Yeah this has been really good. I’m all for bleak and I agree that this earns it. I’m eh on The Mist tbh

World's Fair was pretty well made and kinda heartbreaking at the end but it also definitely felt like a debut, some cool ideas but wouldn't say I loved it

  13. Yeah I will likely save the last two or three to watch party with a friend. I took a long nap and drank some coffee after work so I'm only a couple drinks in, but I doubt I make it past 6am. It's Saturday, but I've got shit to do lol

This is still so fun and I'm glad they're doing it :)

  15. This movie has a very specific vibe (rules) and the music is so sick lol

If you're interested in a 90S DIY riff on Evil Dead, absolutely watch this shit on Shudder. Only an hour long!

  16. Bloody Muscle Body Builder was a 10/10 for me lol. Unreal independent filmmaking.

Fourth movie is Fade to Black. Amazing choices so far.

  17. Fifth movie is Children of the Corn, but I'm headed to bed!

  18. Oddity was cool! Watched it lastnight
