I watched hell house llc last fall for 1st time and other than the ending underwhelming me a bit I thought it had a real good sense of atmosphere, growing paranoia and subtle tensions without resorting to the the stale haunted house movie tropes toooo bad

I wasn't huge on the mockumentary parts but I think worth a watch

 

I’m surprised found footage stuff isn’t more rife in horror right now with near pro level cameras in smartphones

 

CHUD II is very fun

 

The scene when the one guy wakes up in bed in the middle of the night and that girl is just sitting against the wall still gives me nightmares.

 

Just started Army of the Dead. Already having a blast.

 

I let out a really big sigh after reading that

 

I don’t hate the idea of more Predator films because there’s so much potential in a pretty developed universe, but that last one left such a bad lingering taste that being apprehensive is not abnormal.

 

Pretty sure I'm the only person in the world that genuinely loves The Predator so I'm on board

I never saw the most recent one, but wasn’t it a case of them hiring Shane Black to make a Shane Black movie and then when did they were like “oh fuck this, take everything Shane Black out NOW” and it just became a turd? Is that right?

 

Alright, ran through the original ten Friday’s in the last week. I don’t think this list is too crazy but I’ve now seen all of the movies at least three times and I feel pretty set with it:

Reminded me a lot of Turbokid.

 

Didn't know that Haunted show had nudity. Scandalous. Feel like this woman low-key had a sexual connection with this Clarence ghost and is just tiptoeing around the subject. Like right??? Right.
