It's on demand everywhere for five bucks, definitely worth it. The vibes are so good, it has such a charming tone.

Got this for like $3 as a coffee table book and it's interesting and has some cool photos

 

Don’t Leave Home was a decent little folk horror film. Would be hard to recommend, but I liked it.

 

thought Romulus was okay. will go into it deeper in the thread but yeah not impressed or disappointed with it really, just whelmed

 

As someone kind of in the same boat (who mostly enjoyed the film), be forewarned that they will not like this opinion lol

 

Not really getting the pushback. I didn’t watch/listen to the review you referenced, so I don’t know what they actually say, but I love Romulus and still think the fan service was shit. Lol

anyway to keep it positive in here, I've seen the trailer for Hugh Grant Horror Movie (that's its name actually) before every movie this quarter and I'm still so down for that. just looks a blast, and that little frown Hugh does after the "it may make you want to die" takes me out every time

 

Absolutely second your "not this lovely thread" take. I've said it before and I'll scream it forever, this thread is pure bliss. The individual movie threads can get so mean and rude for folks' opinions and tastes, but this one is always *chef's kiss*

I had 3 friends send me this trailer while I was in the middle of watching it. I’m usually the trailer guy, so I feel like this could be an unexpected hit when it comes out.

 

I’m not saying all of these movies are quality, but Hannibal Rising? Really? Lol

 

I guess it helps if I show that they’re calling it a modern horror favorite

I've never seen any TCM except the original honestly but I doubt any of them are worse than Hannibal Rising

 

Yeah I’m not a Spit on Your Grave fan, so I’d probably only put You’re Next and Sinister as modern classics. Wolf Creek is fine but it’s almost 20 years old. Lol

 

I haven’t seen Rising since it came out, but I thought both those TCM movies were awful personally. So they’re pretty close, if not just as bad. Lol

 

It's been a while since I've seen I Spit On Your Grave, but Rising seems to pretty easily be the worst one there. Lots of mid/bizarre choices, but You're Next and Wolf Creek are good!
