Are they serious with this Speak No Evil trailer before Alien? Did they think the earlier trailers didn’t show enough so they doubled down hard? Lol

 

i already wasn't interested after reading the og's synopsis, but now i feel like i've already seen the movie haha

 

The trailer is basically the whole movie, and the movie is a straight up remake so I feel like I’ve already seen it twice

 

I’m fine watching the trailer multiple times because I know I’m not gonna see it. Watching the original movie once was more than enough for me.

 

Loved Romulus. Few nitpicks that irked me but very happy with it.

 

Also, I had to run to the bathroom like 20 minutes in and when I came back there was a guy in the back row messing around on his iPad. I think he was checking stocks. That’s a new one

 

Just finished Immaculate. What a wild ass movie. It was pretty meh up until the last 30 minutes, which was pure insanity. I loved the final scene!

 

If someone sitting around me is using their phone and I can see they are scrolling through social media, I will always ask them to politely put their shit up. But a fucking iPad? Come on now.

 

To be fair, there was no one really in actual view of what he was doing so I think that’s why he was getting away with it. People are crazy, so I wasn’t saying anything since I didn’t have to watch it. Lol

Edit: not that that makes it right. But that’s just why I didn’t care lol

 

The idea of starting a new thread gives me anxiety so I'll just post this in here with the stipulation that these movies aren't exactly horror but what are everyone's favorite mindfuck/trippy movies?

Some of my favorites are Coherence, Time Lapse, Triangle, and Primer.

Anyone have any good recommendations in this vein?

If you don’t mind a movie set at a big dumb college party that’s from 2013, then I always had a blast with +1. I always high when me and my friend watched it though and it’s been awhile. So your results may vary. Lol It’s just a fun movie that gets a little trippy with its concept.

Absolutely no clue if there’s anywhere to even watch it. I don’t think a lot of people even know about it. Lol

 

Predestination

 

Damn that’s a good one. I haven’t seen it since it came out, but I remember it being weird af and liking it.

 

Second the Predestination rec. You’d probably also like Time Crimes and maybe The Man from Earth

 

It’s a pain in the ass to even look up, but this is the one I’m talking about. I’d be happy to send it to anyone if they PM me since it’s probably not streaming anywhere.

Truly! I try and recommend it to so many people but it never lands for some reason. I honestly think that people don’t stick with it but it’s so worth it!

 

I've only seen the first Happy Death Day film and it was pretty fun
