  1. The Speak No Evil trailer is so bad but y’all I can’t with this Smile 2 trailer anymore lol. Can’t believe there’s still 3 months of this thing

Loved it a lot! Sleaze and camp galore. An imperfect love letter to its influences and Hollywood. Saw a lot of complaints of the third act, but that’s what did it for me the most.

It’s one of my favorite from this year so far.

  4. Frogman fucks. And Arcadian was much better than I anticipated. As good as Longlegs if I'm feeling spicy??

Oddity - lean and tense. Very good at setting up a big scare, of which there were many. There are a couple of gnarly looking kills but pretty much everything in that dept occurs off camera. The “twist” is also easy to clock from pretty early on but it doesn’t make the journey less entertaining, though I wish there was a better payoff. Kinda felt like Shudder’s attempt at a 00s teen horror? Liked it, didn’t love it, felt maybe a little scatterbrained but it delivered on the frights

Halfway through Dressed to Kill and I love it so much haha. Some of the best De Palma setup, atmosphere, and characters. Dennis Franz is so good as a dickhead cop, it’s unbelievable

  15. Also went to see Oddity today and really enjoyed it. Pretty high up on the heebie jeebie scale and would be fun to show to my friends during spooky season.

this trailer just popped up on my YouTube. may be worth checking out

  17. About half an hour left in Strangers on a Train (more of a thriller but WGAR are covering it). Super well-paced, probably the most I've liked a Hitchcock film since Psycho (which came out after, but I've only seen like four of his films)

The only movie that ever made me almost puke in theaters was Jackass. Seeing dudes puke and shit on themselves is too much for my stomach.

An inconsequential shift as the continents drift.

"WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR" in the original Last Summer remains one of my favourite horror moments ever
