Alright, last one

 

Thinking I might do that tonight finally

 

A few drinks in and halfway thru Late Night with the Devil and it’s a fucking blast

 

that was everything I wanted it to be and more

I loved it

 

Did Lisa Frankenstein tonight. Fell really flat for me and my wife, unfortunately. Horror comedy is so hard to do and I felt like a lot of the humor was propped up by simply referencing an 80s product.

 

Still my second favorite of the year I think. Felt kind of timeless to me, honestly.

 

I'm only like 15 minutes into The Watchers and it looks GORGEOUS but some of the dialogue/exposition is so ham fisted

edit: yeah, final verdict would be good directing, mixed performances, bad script. Not really for kez but it could be worse - some people might dig it more than I did.

 

I adored LNWTD. Need to watch it again to make sure I was tracking properly with the end as I ended up getting pretty fucked up. Goes without saying but it will be a necessary and fun addition to the Halloween rotation in the fall

The marketing is so good for Longlegs, I wouldn’t say any part made me sick to my stomach but there’s not a better way to hype it up.

 

Rewatched Pearl today and will do X at some point before Maxxxine on Wednesday. What a blessing to live in this timeline where we’re getting a trilogy like this to critical acclaim
