Also I'm in the mood for some Vinegar Syndrome-esque trash but I lost my Blu-ray remote, so I can't watch my Homegrown Horrors boxset right now. Any recommendations on streaming/YouTube? A good regional/low-budget thing to watch while having some drinks. @OhTheWater ?

This is already being discussed in the theme park thread, but I figured you horror dudes would be interested in the first permanent theme park land based on horror films

• A Dr. Frankenstein's Castle themed dark ride featuring all the classic universal monsters
• A rollercoaster based on The Wolfman
• A Dracula themed restaurant called "Das Stakehouse" where all the servers are in character as vampire familiars scoping out potential victims for their masters, where they will serve "steaks on stakes" .
• A tavern themed as a hangout for monster hunters inside the iconic burning windmill from Frankenstein where there will be interactive experiences with Van Helsing-esque monster hunters
• A Universal Monsters Makeup Experience parlor where that offer monster face painting
• Character meet & greets with Frankenstein's Monster, The Bride, Ygor, The Invisible Man.

fuck, that Donald Sutherland news was not what I wanted to wake up to, RIP. Don't Look Now is top 20 for me, that movie is a fever dream captured on videotape, and his and Julie Christie's performances are just pitch perfect for it. masterpiece

said that each scene looked like it could be a painting

the hype is real

 

I don’t want to say too much but that is entirely true. It’s so gothically breathtaking, I wanted to applaud after.

 

I watched a terrible phone record video on Twitter lol it looks sick but I would definitely not recommend doing what I did
