  4. Eh. I'm sure I'll see it, but A Quiet Place was one of those movies that was great on first watch (especially in theaters) but quickly kind of lost its charm for me upon rewatch and really thinking about it. I guess we'll see.

  7. Curse of Chucky was so solid - gives Child's Play 2 a run for its money in terms of seriously scary films in that franchise. Just have Cult left tonight.

Deathrow Gameshow was like eating junk food from another dimension. Very bad and very good all at once. Excited to dive into the Homegrown Horror collection from Vinegar Syndrome.

  11. So excited.

  12. Also they're showing Fried Barry on The Last Drive-In tomorrow night! Thinking it's going to be that and Frankenhooker, which rules.

Holding off on watching any Carpenters again since Blank Check is gonna be covering him starting in August... but I remember Ghosts of Mars being incredible when I was a middle schooler and I’m excited to watch it again soon

I've only ever heard terrible things about it, but it's fun as hell and obviously meant to be super campy and tongue-in-cheek. Had no idea going in it's basically Assault on Precinct 13 set on Mars fighting possesed zombies.

I need some help identifying an indie horror movie my college roommates and I watched back in 2011. We can all agree that the premise was a college/grad student accidentally summons a demon when alone in a house (maybe his professor’s). I’m reasonably certain it was in black and white and came out in the back half of the 2000’s. The only actor credits I recall is the protagonist and a voice credit from a phone call with his professor. I believe the title starts with ‘The’. I know this is more or less crap info but if this rings a bell with anyone it’d be greatly appreciated!

been wanting to watch frankenhooker, so it's perfect for me.

i caught the first episode of season two of Creepshow last night. What a fun experience and it feels like Greg Nicotero is having fun again.

  19. I also watched Frankenhooker within the last month or two and it absolutely owns, long live Henenlotter

the other option is American Mary, which premieres later in the month, but the latest hint was to not watch anything premiering on Shudder yesterday or today (Frankenhooker and Fried Barry)

  20. Nvm, new hint calling it "international night" and the replies calling it "ironic" that Canadians can't watch live is pointing to American Mary over Frankenhooker

I've always wanted to see American Mary, so I'm game!

The Soska sisters have such a twisted sense when it comes to the human body. They’re the reason why See No Evil 2 worked so well.

Just watched In the Mouth of Madness for the first time and that movie rules. Really close to being something great.

I just don't really care much for Ginger Snaps

  24. Thought Ginger Snaps was rad! Fried Barry is losing me a bit

    Back From The Dead Prestigious

It’s interesting watching the latter Saw movies, because they go from this twisted morality that makes you ponder to this bizarre universe of lore and characters spread across the movies that just gets more and more ridiculous.
