    Glad I won’t have to wait long for Abigail. Not really a fan of theaters so it’s nice to have the option to wait a few weeks and watch it in the comfort of my own home.

    Heading to my car now. Fresh hot take right out the oven, I think I like Immaculate more, if only because it aligns a little more closely with my personal tastes, even though First Omen might be the better film overall. I'll be interested to see whether my thoughts change the more I sit with it

    edit two hours later: First Omen filled me with a sense of impending dread I haven't felt since Hereditary, and Nell gives a captivating performance. I think that's what I return to the most, the way she delivers so much through not just her facial expressions but also her physicality. it wasn't like a "fun" horror movie but I do feel like i just witnessed something truly special

    The First Omen has been the biggest/best surprise of the year so far for sure

    Just finished the Chucky season finale. So fucking ridiculous lol

    Oh yeah for sure. I’ll probably throw it on plex and just watch it to at least see the creature designs that looked pretty great
