abigail is pretty good. i’d call it my favorite from radio silence if not for a few problems i had with it

An inconsequential shift as the continents drift.

thought Immaculate was fine, not great. seems like they wanted a tense slowburner and a movie where dudes get choked out by rosary beads. I'm fine with either of those but you need a very strong framework to try and do both, this script was just okay

definitely glad I decided on catching First Omen on the big screen and Immaculate on streaming, the former was way better

  5. Never seen it, hoping to hit it Saturday! Planning on revisiting Halloween 4 & 5 with Joe Bob on Friday, never saw them with his hosting segments.

Also, I'm halfway through The Night of the Hunter and man, this thing really gets under your skin slowly but surely. That underwater shot is insane, one of the best I've seen in a movie from the era.

Have night seen Night of the Hunter and just literally thought about that reading my heart is a chainsaw cause Jade mentions her dad watching it

  13. Looks about as goofy as expected. Shyamalan's dialogue has always been rough, but it was particularly bad in Old. Then Knock at the Cabin thoroughly surprised me, so I don't know what to expect from this. But yes, all in on Hartnett

Whoa I had no idea that was Josh Hartnett!

Jamie seems unreasonably friendly. Imagine if that's how merch people at massive shows actually were lol

I really dug the trailer. I still haven’t watched Knock at the Cabin, but I thought Old was awful personally.

But I’m also just here for then Hartnett-aisance and really hope he’s the DCU’s Batman. Just a fan cast but I’m all in on that casting lol

  17. Definitely check out Knock at the Cabin, it was leagues better than Old

  18. Somebody let me know if I should see Abigail in theaters. I'm sure it's fun, but Scream VI was my least favorite and it's mostly tonal stuff I'm worried about like the quippy True Blood reference and "ballerina vampire!?" joke in the trailer

  20. Maybe my skepticism being at an all-time high after Old contributed to me being pleasantly surprised, but I though Cabin was his best since The Visit

I had to change my ticket to tomorrow, but I’ve seen multiple people say it’s Radio Silence’s best movie. Obviously a bold statement so take it as you will lol

He was clearly the best part of the movie. Im just not a big Shyamalan fan outside of the classics.

Knock was decent. Interesting it resolves a lot of the vagueness in the book.
