  1. Still prefer the original, but The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 remains as deranged and cartoonish as ever lol. Always fun to watch with someone who hasn't seen it before.

I finished The Angel of Indian Lake today! I legit think each book in the trilogy is better than the last.

There’s a good chance it stops playing since it hits Shudder on Friday.

  12. Trailers before Late night with the devil

    The dead don't hurt
    Tarot
    Abigail
    Sasquatch sunset wtflmao
    Cuckoo!!!
    In a Violent Nature

That was like fifteen minutes, not as much as usual I think

Late Night with the Devil was actually really good! Had a nice vibe to it. Dastmalchian finally getting a lead role and absolutely killing it. Also don't think I've seen Georgina Haig in anything since she was Elsa

The ai was used very sparingly. Yes there should most certainly be a discussion about ai in film in general, but I think the overreaction to it in this instance unfairly draws away from the strengths of the film as a whole.

  14. "I think the overreaction to it in this instance unfairly draws away from the strengths of the film as a whole" out of context sounds like I'm defending a sexual abuser or something

It was. Definitely hit a lot of familiar notes but had a few swerves I didn’t expect. And the breezy runtime. That was a solid 85 minutes.

Now I have to find time for Omen.

First Omen was pretty good. I did feel the ending wasn’t super satisfying as it had to tie to the O.G. , which I haven’t even seen

Getting excited for Abigail tomorrow afternoon

  21. My friends and I are watching the Spy X Family movie in theaters on Saturday haha, so I'll probably not get around to Abigail (or First Omen) until next week

Seeing Abigail tomorrow night at 7, sure hope I can stay awake, lol; usually do lunch/afternoon showings, but can’t go Fri or Sat and don’t want to wait until Sunday.
