I assume the Scary Movie reboot will be parodying a lot of ''elevated horror'' films

  2. They'll make a reference to Scream referencing elevated horror, so it's meta meta, or meta squared

  3. And then in case the audience somehow doesn't get it, he does the finger motions at the end of the trailer lmao. Insane.

  6. I haven't seen it in a decade, but I might even go to bat for four on nostalgia alone. At least the opening Saw parody was very funny at the time

I remember it being fun, but on the same level. I will say that the movies haven’t aged well in terms of language so it will be interesting to see how they approach this.

Just got out of Civil War. That was a terrifying 100 minutes.

  18. Thoughts on it politically/thematically? I'm a bit hesitant to go watch it

    The First Omen was WILD.

I want to be careful because I saw Madame Web on Sunday and of course the next movie I watched was going to seem infinitely better...but this was fantastic.

yeah sorry guys but I don't think Landon is my bag, just watched Happy Death Day and I was bored outta my mind. just kept thinking how much I'd rather be watching Scream 2 lol

  21. Definitely fair. I like Landon, but I don't love him the same way some folks do. He's a little gimmicky, but I usually have fun with the tone he brings.

  23. Comfort Food Night on the Last Drive-In tonight. Apparently they're talking about how to make the perfect grilled cheese? And the movie is one he thought everyone had already seen. Immediate guesses were Motel Hell and Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2, but he recently said no one had guessed it yet, so I'm not quite sure what to expect!

I'm going back into my corner with my copies of the entire Flanagan filmography and not emerging until the spring

  25. Y'all should drop your Landon and Flanagan arms and come together in the name peace (chaotic neutral king Cronenberg)
