honestly getting tired of the Quiet Place trailer too but after Us and Little Monsters I'll see any Lupita horror movie

 

Lupita is great in Us, but I have a friend in LA who had a pretty bad time working with her and I have a hard time not thinking about that now :/

 

Can someone help me decide in the next 90 minutes whether I should watch Edge of the Axe or The New York Ripper

 

You'll Never Find Me is pretty good. Probably would have liked it more if it was 15 minutes shorter. Not a fun movie by any means but I had fun trying to figure out what the hell was going on lol

I rewatched The Rental last night because I didn't remember much about it and it really works for me. A tense relationship drama that quickly devolves into AirBnB intruder horror. No real twists or gimmicks, just a lot of realism, which I really enjoyed as a change of pace. Plus, Alison Brie and Jeremy Allen White.

 

I somehow had never heard of this so thanks for your post. Watched it tonight and it was highly enjoyable! Very simple, straight forward, yet effective thriller.

It was also filmed on the Oregon coast too which is awesome. Mentioned to my GF that the scenery looked like the coast and sure enough it was filmed in Bandon haha

I like Barbarian a lot, so I'm thankful we have both! You should check it out!

 

Edge of the Axe was...okay. Fun killer and twist, the lead actor is really bad in a charming way, but the kills are pretty dull and the film as a whole isn't much to write home about. It's watchable, though, especially with a few drinks.

Has anyone here seen Woodshock?

Ticket purchased for Late Night With the Devil tomorrow after work. Seeing Ghostbusters immediately afterwards lmao.

 

I didn't hate the new Ghostbusters

 

My expectations are extremely low, so I'm hoping that will help me to enjoy it more than Afterlife.

 

It's better than Afterlife which wasn't a hard thing to accomplish lol

 

Afterlife was fun, so this makes me excited haha

 

I am just praying for any amount of less fan service and referential material. A semi-original story would be a start
