Intruder rules so hard. Between that, the scene in Messiah of Evil, and The Mist, grocery stores are a great setting for horror and we need more.

Yep lol. Other dvds I saw in there were the Scream 1-3 collection, Resident Evil collection, Black Phone, Mimic 1 and 2, and some others I’m forgetting

$5 is way too steep for a collection of the Resident Evil movies. I'd actually pay $5 to lose copies of those

 

Walmart had some awesome new steelbooks when I was there yesterday, Creepshow and VHS 94/99/85 in particular.

 

Really loved the first half of Lovely, Dark, and Deep. I think the execution is a little hit-or-miss in the second half, but it mostly comes together and is definitely worth watching even with some minor issues. Good movie! Felt like 1408 in the woods.

Also did All Jacked Up and Full of Worms and, uhhhh, wow lol. Way more fucked up than I ever anticipated. Made me feel gross in some turns and made me laugh in others. I also think this one comes together in the final stretch, and I think I like what the movie is trying to do/say, but getting there is... a lot. Thankful it was only 72 minutes, lol.

 

DeepStar Six and Microwave Massacre tonight

 

Just watched the newest trailer for Late Night with the Devil and it remains my most anticipated horror movie of the year.

 

Going with Deathstalker on Shudder since i’m drunk cause why not

 

Loved Deepstar Six lol it is nothing special, another underwater aliensploitation flick, but goddamn do I love the sets of those movies. Weirdly cozy to me. I need to rewatch Underwater.

Microwave Massacre is insane. It's like Rodney Dangerfield made a horror film, except instead of Dangerfield it's the voice of Frosty the Snowman. I'm embarrassed to say how much it's made me laugh out loud.

 

Intruder was a great time. Thanks thread. Some really great kills

 

now I gotta see it and soon

 

I also started this last night and was enjoying it. Gotta finish it later this week
