I really wanna see Stopmotion but I think it's only playing in the evening (I usually go in the afternoon) so I'd have to figure something out. Not a big deal tho

 

I got my friend to watch Departing Seniors today and she just informed me that the English teacher is Paolo from the Lizzie McGuire movie. My mind is blown

Impatiently waiting for Lisa Frankenstein to leak a day early like Poor Things did so I can finally watch it.

I think that Out of Darkness movie hits digital tomorrow too. Did anyone catch that in theaters?

Think I'm finally gonna get to Lisa Frankenstein this week (it hung on in theaters with better showtimes this week!). Also, our favorite local pizza place is now doing a movie night once a month and they are starting off with Phenomena, so that is rad and will catch that tomorrow night.

Yeah, was also wondering if this is digital right now, headed to streaming, or is having a limited theater release

 

Watched a movie our Art Director at the Eerie Horror Fest did effects for on Peacock called The Special. Fun! Really interesting premise, great effects work, and it succeeds as body horror because it grossed me out lol.

Also rewatched Predator and I think I liked it more on this watch than maybe any other. It still drags ever so slightly at points if you're not as into army/action flicks, but there are some genuine scares, the effects work is wild for the time, and the Predator reveal is so worth it. Very good stuff, excited to give Predator 2 another go.

 

Google tells me May 31st on Shudder which is sooooo far away. Not playing in theaters near me

 

Don’t worry, I downloaded it at 3am then went back to sleep lol

 

Plan on reading the book before seeing it. Looks interesting
