Fully anticipating it taking me two days to watch

 

Nomads is a truly baffling movie, but the core idea could be cool with a good script and good editing, neither of which it has.

 

I have never heard of this film

 

Just downloaded Lovely, Dark, and Deep so I’m going to try to do a double feature of that and Departing Seniors tonight.

Yeah I was not expecting to see Lovely when I went on my site a bit ago. It doesn’t even show up on blu-ray.com as being released digitally. So no clue what’s going on there. Lol

I’ll definitely update in here if I actually watch them!

 

There's a moment when he starts following the gang where you're like oh is this actually going to rule, and then it just doesn't go anywhere. Not sure what they saw in him to give him Predator, but it was ultimately the right call.

 

Scratch that, Drive Away Dolls is this year's Bottoms. Lisa Frankenstein is this year's Bottoms plus the horror but minus the lez

Did When Evil Lurks last night. That was great!

 

Watched Lisa Frankenstein last night. Go to the movies maybe once or twice a year. Got reminded why.

The two ladies behind us who sounded like they have been chain smoking for 70 years had to comment full volume on everything omg. "Have you tried that Starry soda yet? It's pretty good. Oh wait but do you like lemon lime? No? Then you wouldn't like it." At the start of every trailer they went "wait, what's this?" And gave their full review as it played. I was waiting on the edge of my seat for their reaction to American Society of Magical Negroes but it seemed to leave them speechless.

Also we were running short on time and didn't have time to buy cheaper concessions at the store beforehand and it cost us $50 after tickets and snacks

 

But did you like the movie?

 

Watched Vamp with Joe Bob last night, finished Sunshine, and watched Troma's Redneck Zombies. Loved Vamp even though it makes no sense, just super fun and cool-looking. Vibes are impeccable. I'm all in on camp right now.

To answer @airik625 , the switch in Sunshine to Event Horizon 2.0 was certainly abrupt but not unearned. The more I chew on it, the more I like it. What a cast. Redneck Zombies is...exactly what it sounds like, lol.

I had to postpone watching last night, so I just started Departing Seniors now. Already feel like I’m going to love it. The lead is great so far. Surprised I haven’t seen him in anything before.

 

Has anyone seen Stopmotion? It started playing here yesterday. Really hoping I can catch it before it's gone.

 

Never mad about a Scream reference in another slasher.

I’m probably going to wait until I can download it, but I really do wanna see this one. Hopefully someone sees it and can weigh in

 

Departing Seniors was a good time. Definitely think I’d throw it on again in the future. Hopefully no one is going into this expecting top tier acting though. lol
