Did Tucker and Dale vs. Evil the other night for the first time since college. A couple of dated jokes, but the premise is SO good and the execution is really, really solid. Just very charming and a lot of fun. Fans of Cabin in the Woods should watch that one if they haven't

Okay… so I’ve finally found the inspiration to write the treatment for film idea that’s been floating around in my brain for over 15 years. I have the title (which I fucking love) and a half-decent logline. I’m lost on how to format the rest. Is there a formula for this shit? I’m thinking no longer than 2 pages. Anyone have any good examples/references of stuff out on the web? Looking at you @Aaron Mook

Two things I've been considering:

1. Based on the essential horror films question asked the other day, would this thread be interested in me tabulating a Top 25 Horror Films of All-Time based on new lists posted in this thread similar to the end of the year list, or do we think that will be too basic/obvious?

2. The site has a Film Club thread, which is fun but participation seems to largely depend on people's time and interest in the film chosen. Would this thread be interested in a very casual film pick of the week in here? No obligation to participate. We could figure out a way to submit picks and I could draw one at random each week. Folks would just react to it in here as if they were posting about any other movie they watched that week.

Just a couple of ideas because I love this thread so much. Let me know what you guys think!

I’d love a weekly watch list for something streaming, I get a lot of suggestions from here anyway

 

1. our own lists should be 25 picks and we should use @Jason Tate bias sorter if that's still a thing

2. a more casual, no obligation weekly thing would be cool

 

Yeah I was thinking we would all have until the 23rd to come up with out Top 25 list, but isn't the bias sorter for ranking an already existing set of data? I could tabulate points for this one like our year end lists
