Lot of good stuff coming out, I’m still most excited for Lisa Frankenstein

 

The marketing for Longlegs is downright chilling.

 

I was interested in Longlegs for Cage but those images have definitely increased my hype.

 

Osgood Perkins is so hit or miss but when he's on he fucking brings it. psyched for that

 

I have only seen The Blackcoat's Daughter and Gretel & Hansel, but I came around on the former and really enjoy the latter. Honestly think G&H is underrated

 

Blackcoat and G&H are great! I need to watch both again soon, it's been awhile

 

I mostly don't like Pretty Thing which is genuinely one of the most boring horror films I've seen lmao. Gretel was okay, not really my kind of thing but I enjoyed watching it for the visuals. Blackcoat's Daughter is a modern classic

So after making my Legally Blonde joke, I was curious what other acting roles he had done, so I checked his wiki. Ended up on his mother’s page to find out she died on one of the planes that crashed into TWC. Just absolutely depressing shit that I wasn’t expecting to read

 

Agree that Blackcoat's Daughter is a modern classic. One of my favorite horror movies of the last 10 years. His other movies were fine but were nowhere near the same level. High hopes for Longlegs.

 

Bought Vincent Albarano’s “Subterranean Underground: Missing Pieces of the US Video Underground” as well as “Aesthetic Deviations”. The former just came in the mail. A really terrific look at a lot of under (or almost never) seen horror

 

I didn’t see it anywhere online from a quick glance but we just got a trailer for Long Legs before American Fiction and man it looks awesome

All the teasers have been released on Fridays, so maybe we get an official trailer drop in a couple days?

 

I would bet it on it definitely being this week after they released those posters yesterday and now have the trailer in theaters. So Friday is probably a good call!

 

It looks real dark. Also didn’t see a recognizable Nic Cage anywhere in it

 

Has anyone heard about streaming plans for Thanksgiving? I know it’s not high art, but it looks like a good brainless watch.

 

I believe Sony has a deal with Netflix so it’ll probably head there, but there hasn’t been a date announced yet
