I haven’t really watched anything new recently. However, I’ve read a few horror comics that I’d recommend.

First would be Where Monsters Lie. It’s a short four issue contained story about a gated community where serial killers live. The final girl who survived thirty years ago is there for revenge.

W0rldtr33 is a strong cyberpunk horror tale from James Tynion IV. Not only is there great writing, but haunting artwork.

 

Manhunter was...maybe perfect. I adored it. Can't believe it took me that long to get around to it.

Didn’t even hear about this one before this. Biggest sale at this year’s Sundance so far. Definitely has me interested

 

I posted about it here a couple days ago. I went and saw it at the theater across the street from my apartment a couple nights ago. It was sooooo good! If you can get away with not seeing/reading anything about it before seeing it, I'd suggest going in blind.

I didn’t even notice the audience when I saw it… like, not even once. So I’d say an audience is in no way necessary. Haha. Seeing it on a big screen is always ideal though.
