Showed my friends It Follows, they found it more suspenseful than scary, which, okay. I love the vibe of this movie, and I love Maika Monroe

Not sure what took me so long, but finally watched The Crow on this cold, gray, rainy day and it was the perfect vibe. Cool shit.

 

The Crow is one of my faves (I’m still very much stuck in my 90’s high school goth “phase”). I’m, extremely cautiously, excited about the new one coming this year—not sure if that’s partly or entirely based on my enormous crush on Bill Skarsgård tho

 

I adore The Crow, one of my favorite films and I am nervous about the remake.

as long as the soundtrack is good the quality of the movie is incidental to me. that original soundtrack is the goat

 

Hard not to be excited, just more so nervous lol it feels like such a time and place film to me. Hard to recapture that magic and feeling

 

Confirming Night Swim isn’t good. A couple interesting ideas/creepy parts, but some insanely goofy shit as well that felt like slapstick/something out of Scary Movie.

 

Every awful horror movie just gives me confidence that I could get my screenplay made

 

Rewatched Happy death Day last night and it's still so good. Israel Broussard and Jessica Rothe are both so charming in it

 

Being two-thirds of the way through it and having been taking almost exclusively positive notes I can vouch for this lol

 

Skip Night Swim and watch this classic

 

Late-career Giamatti horror run would be legendary

 

Binge watching (not loving myself) the Baby Oopsie franchise

 

lmao hell yeah, have not seen a single one of those but you know I love Full Moon Features

 

Honestly..the first movie is a lot of fun! Second one feels like it’s unfinished and ran out of money.

 

Rewatched 30 Days of Night yesterday evening for the first time in a decade maybe and completely forgot that that was Ben Foster in the beginning. I also never realized that Danny Huston played the King Vamp (who IMDB is now telling me his character's name is Marlow). Melissa George should be in more horror flicks.

 

Was just thinking about revisiting this one. Loved it all the way through college, also probably haven't seen it in a decade.

 

I think 30 Days of Night might be my favorite vampire movie. So damn good and absolutely holds up

 

I need to rewatch that too actually. I don't remember much about it
