Night Swim is probably one I’ll wait to watch at home. Even if it’s not that great, I definitely still want to check it out anyway.

Night Swim reviews are underwhelming so far

 

I believe this means Saw X will be considered a preboot if the continue the story in Saw XI.

You can help me fit "preboot" into my Scream 7 treatment lol.

 

Yeah, Night Swim is not looking great but we may catch it while visiting friends in Texas next week. Nothing else is out unless you love Jason Statham movies.

Just got out of Night Swim. It was pretty bad.

I hyped Night Swim up in my head as if it would actually be good and left the theater so let down.

What a bummer.

 

January movies are typically bad, right? especially the case when it comes to horror

 

That can a lot of times be the case but I loved M3GAN, Escape Room and I think a few more.

 

Bummer. Feels like it could have gone either way, and I like Wyatt Russell, but the most recent trailer I saw was a mess.

 

There were some interesting ideas presented but they didn't really explore any of them. And the basic rules they outlined made no sense and were broken repeatedly. I didn't think it was terrible, but it certainly botched any potential it had.

 

How scary was it? Some friends and I are debating seeing it (want to go to the theaters next week but don't want to see Mean Girls or the Jason Statham movie), but they have a hard time with like...actual scary movies.

 

couple of small jump scares, one or two creepy shots. pretty mild overall, I'd say

 

Really need Maxxxine to come out soon because the first half of the year seems very light on horror/horror I'm interested in lol

Holy shit, local theater is playing Psychos in Love in February!

 

The Texas Theater (where Lee Harvey Oswald was arrested) is not too far away and does Tuesday Night Trash where they play stuff like that. I should really try to get out there more often.

 

Might have to cop that Paris shirt.
