Starting off my night with TCM 3

 

Gonna try some combination of The Pyramid, As Above So Below, Halloween 3, and Halloween 4 between tonight and tomorrow. Gotta finish The Lazarus Effect first.

Finally finished Monster House and it was good!

 

I saw Pyramid on Max earlier and never heard of it. I’ll watch it eventually for Denis O’Hare.

 

I’ve been randomly throwing on these “ghost hunter” type shows and even though these are all relatively newer (and holy SHIT I didn’t know there were so many of these) they somehow make Grave Encounters even more on point with their breaking of the fourth wall or whatever you want to call it and Grave Encounters came out in 2011!

Some of these shows are so eerily exactly what Grave Encounters was mocking about them I almost wonder if they made their intros and personalities to match it in honor of the movie or something some of these are so bad/cringey

 

Did not care for Skinamarink

 

The Boogeyman was mid. Hellraiser (2022) while no original was still worthwhile and gnarly.

 

Even though I rewatched earlier this year, doing a brunch showing of Scream since I’ve never seen it on the big screen before. Packed room too, should be fun.

 

Enjoy! I saw it on the big screen a couple years ago for the 25th anniversary and it was amazing finally getting to experience it like that, since I was only 4 when it came out

might watch that with a couple of beers and treat it like a comedy

 

A Haunting in Venice hits digital and Hulu on Halloween

 

Good spooky whodunit

 

Might double feature Exorcist: Believer with the original this weekend just to really feel the drop in quality

 

Watched the documentary on Mckamey Manor. I knew nothing coming in and was seriously disgusted. Dude seems like such a creep and it’s wild that he’s out there doing this highly illegal stuff unregulated.
