    Yep, sounds like an Alien movie lol very excited to see what Alvarez does with the tone, Evil Dead 2013 is a bonafide classic at this point.

    Forgot to check back in and say, yep, Altered States is perfect. What an insane and surreal creature-feature. Feels like a cross between 2001 and a precursor to The Fly. Excellent performances and effects. $5 to purchase right now on Vudu.

    Has anyone else seen When the Wind Blows and, if so, would you consider it horror? It's basically an animated version of Threads but for kids. Guy at the Severin tent hooked me up with it at the festival, wondering if I could count it for Gore-us.

    Definitely felt The Lost Boys was a bit overrated when I finally watched it in 2016, but I’ll have to give it a rewatch.

    This morning, I watched The Fly (1958) for the first time, and I loved it! For being made in the 50s and being a little cheeseball, it was still really effective.
