I feel like the floor is getting higher but nothing like really groundbreaking came out this year

 

I just rewatched Silver Bullet a few days ago. The werewolf kinda looks like a bear but uncle Busey is great.

 

That’s where I’m at with it. There’s been good movies, but nothing that feels like it’s going to be remembered as a classic in the way I felt with Malignant, Pearl, Nope, etc.

So far today I’ve watched Leprechaun in Space and Mars Attacks.

I went into this with an open mind, but oof. It’s after-school-special-bad.

I decided to shelve Blob for another night, as I was reminded about Titane

Or Crash honestly

 

Still need to see Crash. Titane ruled though.

 

Someone’s Watching Me! was great. Carpenter’s very obvious homage to Hitchcock, but still a super effective thriller. Early Carpenter is just unmatched.

Tonight should I watch Hatchet, When a Stranger Calls (79) or W. The Pooh: Blood and Honey?

We started Servant and I’m into it pretty immediately. Not sure how there’s 4 seasons based on the plot of this thing like 3 episodes in but I’m here for it.

 

Yeah Blood and Honey stinks. Not really even fun in a campy way.

 

Hell yeah. It stays consistent all the way through, you're in for a good ride. We need more shows that are only 25-35 minutes long.

Just finished my pick for the Lovecraft adaptation that doesn't have Combs and Crampton. The Unnamable. Entertaining enough with some cool practical effects but it felt like it was missing something to make it more fun. 2.5/5

 

Also V/H/S/85 didn't really do much for me sadly
