May for the movie that takes place on Halloween category. Technically a rewatch, but the final scene is all that I remembered from it so It was like seeing it for the first time. Pretty good. Very strong early 2000s vibes. Is it just me or is Anna Faris pretty bad in this? lol. Angela Bettis kills it though (pun intended). 3/5

 

saw X was good. not as brutal as i was anticipating but good.

 

Another fun option for made for TV. I think I said before 2001 but meant to include 2001.

 

Did No One Will Save You, The Taking of Deborah Logan, The Autopsy of Jane Doe, and Hotel Transylvania this weekend

The first two started off very promising but wound up not caring for them at all. Jane Doe was fun enough though! Always wrote off Hotel Transylvania as something I wouldn’t be interested in, but it was very cute. Had no idea it was a Tartakovsky joint

Was able to catch some of AMC’s Fear Fest earlier today on cable television (!!!) and they were doing all Halloween films from what I saw. Saw the end of Halloween 4 and then a lot of Zombie’s Halloween 2. I’m not saying that I’m a full blown convert but what I saw of H2, I liked! I haven’t seen it in years but it was kinda hitting for me.

 

Additionally, if anyone wants a spooky greeting card, DM me with your address. It’s half baked and I wanted to have more in place by 10/1, but I will be sending cards to anyone who wants with Halloween-themed cards and personal messages + maybe fun bonuses

 

Sleepy Hollow has a really cool aesthetic/set design, plus Christopher Walken should’ve been allowed to talk in a German accent

 

Watching As Above So Below, they didn’t need any of this supernatural stuff nothing is scarier than being in underground caves

Can't remember the name, but I did see a new one on Max the other day!

Yesterday was a relaxation day after a long few days. I only slept and watch Sleepy Hollow. Here's hoping that I can watch at least two films tonight.

 

Went with Renfield last night (apparently completing the Nicholas Hoult horror trilogy of that, The Menu, and Warm Bodies in the last month). It was a totally serviceable film and it was awesome to see Nic Cage be ultra Nic Cage.
