Here's my tentative list. I did only things I haven't seen. If I start now, I might make it through a 2nd time before the end of October and probably do some rewatches and stuff other people are watching and liking.

Bad Ronald (1974) - Highly suggest this one. A family moves into a Victorian house, unaware of a secret room hiding a teenage killer.

Blood Ties (1991) - Starring Jason Landon. About a family of vampires living in Long Beach for some reason.

Casper Meets Wendy (1999) - Casper and Hilary Duff hanging out

Tower of Terror (1997) - A movie about the Disney ride starring Steve Gutenberg and Kirsten Dunst

Ghostwatch (1992) - Like when Orson Welles did War of the World and scared the shit out of everyone, this put England in a panic when it first aired on the BBC and people thought it was real

The Halloween Tree (1993) - A cartoon adaptation of Ray Bradbury's classic

I've Been Waiting For You (1998) - A Scream / I Know What You Did Last Summer rip-off starring Sarah Chalke, Soleil Moon Frye, and Ben Foster

Underwraps (1997) - Disney mummy movie set during Halloween. It's better than Halloweentown, sorry

Dark Night of the Scarecrow (1981) - Highly suggest this one too

You should def watch Dawn of the Dead, it's my favorite horror film of all time

 

Might switch out Animal (2014) for Suspiria. Also considered Duel but wasn't sure if it was horror. Definitely recommend Ghostwatch and Dark Night of the Scarecrow.

I should have suggested an episode of The Last Drive-In, and a Treehouse of Horror, for extra credit.

 

An episode of TLDI would have been a good call, but I don't think everyone has a Shudder account. I have not seen one Treehouse of Horror!

 

Yeah, that's why I held back on "A Shudder Original" being mine. Wow, you MUST watch The Shining episode. I know every word lol

I didn't know Mia was in that. Honestly, after Tilda took a role in Doctor Strange that should have gone to an Asian actor, I just can't stand looking at her. It's weird tho bc I don't feel the same about ScarJo anymore, I guess because 1, I never actually bothered to see GitS and 2, I was already a big fan
