oh and forgot to mention, caught the Exorcist Believer trailer finally too. thinking it looks like a fairly generic read on the franchise (took me a solid minute to even clock what the trailer was for) but there's some solidly unsettling imagery in there at the least. gonna go in expecting to be whelmed and hope I'm not let down

I would say any trailer with jump scares will make me not wanna see it but I gave Smile a shot and loved it. ...Probably won't be seeing Nun 2, tho

I liked Smile the most but they're all worth watching imo

 

Well it's not Christmas so one of those should be automatically out. Go with Smile, it's the creepier pick.

We just watched Neon Demon. Weird one, pretty interesting at points but mid overall.

 

I’m wondering if that’ll be his last film tbh because it’s hard to imagine him getting the funding to make another at this point

 

I liked it at the time, LOVE Elle Fanning, but I haven't felt compelled to revisit it. for some reason I kinda lumped together Aronofsky, Refn, and von Trier as a trio I'm just no longer interested in. I think I just replaced them with Peele, Aster, and Eggers

 

Been a while since I’ve seen it, but I love Neon Demon.
