Same. Also, Carla Gugino will always get work while Flanagan is making content and I love it cause I love her.

 

Flanagan is muted for me on socials, so I had no idea about a new show this year.

 

I'd also be down for him moving away from Netflix cos they suck. iirc he had director's cuts of Midnight Mass he hasn't got to release yet, plus Club getting cancelled right as it was getting good

Been so bad at watching movies lately, so I booted up shudder and added all the newer stuff that looked interesting to my list and hope to start working my way through that.

Directed by the guy who did the new Texas Chainsaw Massacre on Netflix (which I actually like), starring Lizzy Caplan, and produced by Rogen/Goldberg. Trailer is great. Been looking forward to this one.

Brooklyn 45 was pretty fun.

 

Put on Enys Men but idk if I have the patience for it tonight. It’s charming and fun to look at but it’s definitely a slow burn so far 30 min in

Finally went back and finished Bug. Wow what a lean, psychotic movie. The teeth pulling scenes made me real squeamish and Michael Shannon is on a different level in some of those monologues

 

Wild, genre-bending movie. Really feels like a stage play at times (it might have been at one point, can't remember if I'm making that up or not)
