Right there with you, my friend. I don’t ever expect to get over it, I’m just hoping the grief becomes more manageable. Thoughts are with you.

  4. I liked it! Went into it knowing almost nothing. Saw the Blumhouse tag at the beginning and was expecting a more typical Blumhouse horror, but it doesn't lean into that brand at all. The two lead performances are great and definitely what stand out to me.

I copped that, Cannibal Cookout and Shreck. Wanna reup my sub, but I am mainly focused on the 80s-90s schlock. I do respect them for being so out there and creative with their other releases, though. Imo the best horror imprint out right now

  11. Oh no, my beloved OTGW! Everyone watch this wholesome, creepy little show if you haven't seen it and you have Max before it gets removed.

That's such a dipshit move right before everyone watches it in fall.

Seriously!! What a ridiculous decision. I'm personally glad to say that I own it, but I love recommending it every Fall to people and this is such a bummer to not have it available on a major platform.

OTGW and Infinity Train are two of the best animated programs, like, ever. Max is being so fucking stupid.

Just added a bunch of these to my watch list, my deal on annual Peacock is about to end

Looks like a sequel was greenlit for Talk to Me according to A24's socials.

Was just spinning the OTGW soundtrack yesterday.

Good thing I have it on Plex.

I feel like this always happens with things that are big seasonally, like Home Alone for example before it went to Disney+. It'd be available all year until winter rolls around. Is this because whoever owns it licenses it to streaming for that time, but holds off during peak season because they want the uptick in people purchasing and paying to rent?

I bet OTGW ends up on like Tubi. Seeing so much get moved there.

Because of the Nun 2 coming out soon, i would like to spontaneously manifest a Conjuring Universe ranking. I have only seen The Conjuring movies (and I rank them in order of release) but wanna see others' thoughts on the whole shebang with The Nun, La Llorona, and Annabelle movies mixed in. Go!

  22. Need to rewatch The Conjuring 2, only one that isn't on Max for whatever reason, but

    The Conjuring 2
    The Conjuring

Annabelle Creation (don't remember anything about this one other than it being fine)

The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It (bad)

Have not seen the rest, not really my kind of horror

Ranking the second movie over the first is criminal behavior, Aaron.

Annabelle Comes home was a lot of fun. 3 is fine for what it is and is carried by the leads.

  24. I like movies that take bigger swings even if they miss a little more! It's unwieldy in a good way, at least from what I remember!

I think I slightly prefer Conjuring 2 also. the young lead's performance is absolutely unbelievable, especially that possession scene with the crooked man ghost
