Huesera was very good. Really effective sound design implemented throughout. Didn't feel fully fleshed out (bad pun) but overall, great performances and striking anxiety/dread over impending motherhood. Also makes me feel bad about cracking my knuckles - which, much like the main character, I also do when I'm stressed.

I don't know if I would classify a lot of those movies from the Collider list as horror films tbh

 

Started Hide and Seek last night. I have a feeling this will not be as good as it was when I was like 12 lol

Looks exactly like you'd expect a Blumhouse Exorcist reboot(?) to look like

 

If David Gordon Green would just skip to whatever he was thinking while making Halloween Ends for these Exorcist instead of making two mid movies first, that would be an interesting trilogy.

The Meg 2 and Last Voyage of the Demeter will be a fun back to back week at the movies

 

This summer feels wide open for horror, but it doesn't seem like were going to get a Malignant or Barbarian this year. We've been spoiled the last couple years.
