Renfield is not good but it's entertaining as hell

friend I saw it with described watching it like watching a series of trailers for the movie instead of a movie which felt pretty accurate lmao

 

I agree, they're actually right next to each other on my list for the year right now haha.

 

Idk, I think Evil Dead Rise delivered. Looking forward to watching that one again

 

It did deliver. They're both great.

 

I definitely preferred EDR even if I was left wanting more violence

Yeah, Renfield was a solid 3/5 for me. Fun, but forgettable

Yeah I was spot-on, lol. Cage good, gore good, some funny bits, but the rest unfortunately made me feel nothing

 

Trying to do Diary of the Dead, The Skeleton Key, and Stay tonight

 

Skeleton Key holds up! I usually end up watching it about 1-2 x/year.

 

I remember liking it! Have not seen the other two. I have a big pile of DVDs I got for free from our library as well as my brother that I'm trying to get through to figure out what to keep and what to pitch, haha. So it's a mid-2000s night.

Honestly, it’s my favorite movie of the year so far.

 

Maybe I’ll watch it tonight. I started it a month or two ago and was enjoying it but I couldn’t concentrate. It was also frustrating hard to see because my TV is too dark at maximum brightness and this movie was not doing it any favors.

 

Yeah it is a little too dark in some scenes

 

Just caught The Boogeyman. It was fine.

 

I saw a Silence of the Lambs dvd with a cool cover but idk i have mixed feelings about it now as a trans person
