  4. I was recording this weekend, so I didn't have a lot of time to watch stuff, but I have 20 minutes left of Messiah of Evil and then I'm going to do the original The Day the Earth Stood Still tonight. (Not horror, but still.)

  6. It's cool, very weird and pretty fun, not as enamored with it as everyone else seems to be but those standout scenes are great. The transfer on Prime just looks really bad

Hollywood Chainsaw Hookers was fun. Myspleen has some rips with the original JBB intros from his showtime show back in the 90s.

Haven't heard much talk about Boogeyman, thoughts?

I liked it. Doesn't do anything new, but it's solid enough. Good lead, especially if you like her on Yellowjackets

Also gonna add Messiah of Evil to my list!

  11. Found an insane 2006 SOV slasher with Gunnar Hansen and a 9/11 subplot to watch one of these nights lol

Stoned, eating ice cream, and rewatching A Nightmare On Elm Street. This is the life.

  13. Are we just linking to full movies on YouTube now? I have this bookmarked in case I ever want to revisit it: Tag (2015)

  17. The Boogeyman was okay. A few weird plot points, and not as emotionally affecting as it could have been. A bit of Lights Out, a bit of Smile, not as good as either. Some pretty cool sequences, though, especially towards the end.

had fun with boogeyman. the writing wasn't great but some cool tricks in the direction and it's going to be better than replacement level horror with the cast

First two years of that game existing were so much fun. Will definitely have to jump back on for the final Halloween seasons.

  24. Gotta fix that! You probably saw my LB review, but it's gruesome without being torture porn, heady without being pretentious, and brisk without wasting a minute of its two-hour runtime.
