  1. 've got Night of the Living Dead with a live score, The Craziest 50th anniversary, Jenna David from M3GAN, and Claudio Simonetti's Goblin closing the festival out! Plus, I may or may not have a couple of free passes *eyes emoji*

I thought I'd love it too, the black goo scenes were good but it felt like there was too much nothing and no real resolution

I really really liked it. I think there was a truly great movie in there somewhere that got a bit lost but in any case, it reminded me a ton of an Alex Garland film and he’s one of my favorite filmmakers doing it right now. Wanna see Glazers other stuff now

  9. Showed my friends A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night! Haven't seen it in a while. I think they liked it. Wasn't scary

An inconsequential shift as the continents drift.

saw Renfield today. unbelievably dumb and edited like an MTV music video but my friends and I had a blast. let Nic Cage play every legacy villain tbh

  14. Goddamn, nearly EVERYTHING I had in mind is sold out today. Feels like they've gotten a major influx of attention since last year, which rocks, but I'm supremely bummed about missing out on Road House. Also seems like the site changed because I can't sort by price anymore.

What was the film directed by a 12-year-old girl? I think I remember you picking that one up and I'm interested

  16. A bunch of these are part of the VinSyn sale, so it looks like I'm picking up a bunch of SOV lol

  17. Was considering Grave Robbers and Flesheater myself, you'll have to let me know how those are.

Wife-approval pending, I think I'm gonna send it on Blood Beat, Wicked World, Fuck the Devil (and Fuck the Devil 2), Psycho Sisters, and Sinistre. These sales stress me out, trying to trim my cart down based on what's streaming on Tubi or Youtube for free, trying to keep it under $100, checking Letterboxd reviews, etc. This is def taking the place of my TV subscription lol.

Watched The Conjuring 3 last night after randomly listening to a podcast on the Arne Johnson case. Definitely liked it much less than the first 2 but it surprised me. Got a little zany and they strayed pretty far from the actual story from what I can tell (would've loved more focus and emphasis on the actual court proceedings tbh), but it still had some pretty effective moments. The beginning started off well but kinda went down from there. That being said, I kinda love Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga's chemistry in these roles and will keep watching them if they're involved.
