  1. According to Darcy, there have been NO correct guesses yet (at least together), so I'm locking in Season of the Witch (Romero) and The Wicker Man with Messiah of Evil as my alternate.

  2. Wow, no idea how I missed this, one of my favorite VHS segments. Apparently streaming on Shudder now!

Wonder if it's a wolfman remake, that seems like the more likely movie to be a "bloodbath"--if done well

Last we heard was that Ryan Gosling was attached to star in a wolf man remake so I’m not sure if this could be that. I would be happy to be wrong and have another wolfman film though

Lol I totally forgot about that. I suppose a Frankenstein movie could be a "bloodbath" too--I'm discounting the obv Dracula possibility

I think Melissa would be a great Bride of Frankenstein so I’d like to see that

  8. Thought I read somewhere that it was Dracula's Daughter? Which would be awesome, one of my favorite Universal classics

I love this dumb franchise. Can't wait to see what they cook up.

Did Stepfather 2 and 3 over the weekend. The second one is a pretty good continuation of the first, and having Terry O'Quinn return is nice. Story kinda meanders and it's a bit slower than the first, but still enjoyable. The third one is made for tv schlock and is real dumb and real fun.

  15. I did Shredder and Copperhead. Shredder is the first movie I've seen in a long time that I can genuinely describe as so bad, it's good; the kills are creative, everyone is horny as hell, the movie is filled with nonsensical 2003 slang (mega-spankworthy), and the soundtrack is straight out of a Tony Hawk Pro Skater game. I had a blast.

Copperhead was...insane, and kind of rad if you can get past them shooting like 12 live snakes throughout the movie. Tough watch!

  16. Finally went to see Beau is Afraid. I didn't think I'd like it as much as Midsommar and... I didn't. It's good, tho, on a technical level, and at least it isn't as traumatizing as Hereditary.

An inconsequential shift as the continents drift.

3 of the people I saw Beau is Afraid with were super high and the pity I felt for them goes beyond words

  20. Yeah, Evil Dead 2013 made me say never again lol and I love that movie

  21. Any Apollo 18 apologists in here? I remembered liking it and rewatched last night. Yep, it's silly and edited strangely but kind of charmingly and the idea of Paranormal Activity in space (with moon rock spider monsters) is just bizarre enough to work for me. Really dumb fun.

I can't go to a theater high, period. Shit gives me major anxiety lol.

I saw Lords Of Salem high in a theatre, assumed I found the movie boring and confusing because of that, but realized after watching it sober recently, it was not the weed's fault. It was Rob Zombie's.
