Finished Willow Creek today, love Bobcat but why did he rip off Blair Witch and take out the scares lol

Fell asleep on the couch for like three hours so I'm gonna start House of Wax and maybe Savage Weekend now

edit: second time now I've gone to watch House of Wax and they've taken it off HBO Max. Damn.

Been so stuck on playing the re4make that I haven’t been watching much but it did put me in the mood for The Wicker Man yesterday when I saw it back on Shudder. Such a great time, every time. Still haven’t seen the Nic Cage but really want to, just for giggles

 

Rewatched the US version of Shutter last night for the first time in ages and it was boring tbh. And I'm a sucker for that era of horror

 

Finally watched Pearl, didn’t totally love it but damn what a performance from Mia Goth.

 

Friends enjoyed Babysitter 2!

 

My kids were spending the night with grandma last night, so it felt like the right time to finally watch Martyrs (my wife chose to go to bed) and oh my…

I thought after watching Inside, nothing could shake me that much.

 

has anyone seen Malum? might try to go tonight

also maybe I should watch Last Shift first...

 

It doesn’t seem like so much of a sequel as it does a reimagining of Last Shift

 

yea maybe I just watch Malum and then if I love it I'll go back and revisit Last Shift

 

Might try to squeeze in The Eyes of My Mother tonight

You're not kidding. It's like a midpoint between Texas Chain Saw Massacre and Pearl. I think I mostly like it though? Definitely not an easy watch.

 

Finally seeing Scream tonight. Very excited to check this one out on the big screen. I have to wait a few weeks before seeing a main stream horror movie in theaters since they tend to bring the most inconsiderate crowd unfortunately.

 

I saw the new Scream a couple weeks ago, and there were a couple teenagers talking and giggling for like the first half or third of the movie until a lady finally yelled "will you guys shut the fuck up?!" and then they were silent the rest of the time. it's so weird how selfish/inconsiderate/oblivious humans are sometimes haha.

 

I’ve definitely had to do that a few times in the past. Worst case was when I saw Ready or Not on my birthday and a couple beside me in a very small theater were talking at the screen the first half of the movie. I’m a nice dude and hate confrontation, but can’t stand people talking constantly throughout a movie.

 

yeah, why pay $230 on tickets and $140 on candy if you're just going to talk the whole time when you could watch something on your friend's shared Netflix account at home with some grocery store candy and talk all you want for like $5 total.
