I remember in college once we got high and I insisted everyone watch Svankmajer's Alice. It was the fastest I’ve ever personally cleared out a room and I was secretly super offended lol.

 

I fell asleep to Smile the first time I tried watching it lol I liked it but the first person who smiled and their whole scene was the creepiest so it peaked kinda early in that way for me.

Smile was fucking awesome. I had watched the initial trailer and blew it off thinking it’d be bad. Enjoyed it, found it unnerving. Starbucks working OT today.

the new Donald Glover show Swarm on Amazon has some truly unsettling stuff. kind of a Dacosta/Peele Candyman vibe. impossible to describe really it's some wild shit

 

Did this just premiere today, or is the whole season out?

 

Atlanta is one of the best shows of all time and Glover’s surrealist horror elements are way more effective to me than Peele’s so I am very much looking forward to watching Swarm this weekend.

 

whole season dropped today, made it through four episodes and I'm tapping out for tonight but it's been improving every episode. 4 is on another level lmao

 

I put the whole season on my Plex if any of you want to watch but don’t have Prime.

 

I’m actually blind on Skinamarink. Haven’t caught a trailer, mostly just the hype talk in here.

The scariest thing to watch on shrooms is a wildlife doc. I once watched a Nat Geo special on big cat predators, and a cub got separated from his mom in the dark while being followed by hyenas. The mom got back to her crying cub in time, but not before making my soul leave my body.

 

Will probably give Swarm a try this weekend, then. Trying to figure out what else to watch aside from The Final Destination and Godzilla vs. Gigan. My copy of Kill Her Goats came in the mail, just gotta be in the mood for it.

 

Went with Leprechaun in Space for my first movie tonight!
