Damn, I just checked to see if my theater was showing it and they aren't, BUT they are showing Skinamarink. One screening. Gonna try and wrassle a friend into going with me, maybe catch The Whale afterwards (I know)

So is Skinamarink something I want to watch at home or theater? Apparently there’s a theater nearby that has it I have never been to.

 

I think home and alone would be best.

 

Oh hey, The Invitation (2022) is on Netflix. Nathalie Emmanuel is great in it, go check it out! but expect more of a gothic romance than anything actually scary

Maybe I can sneak some Flanagan into Phase Two before hitting them with Doctor Sleep. Is Before I Wake too scary? Maybe I should go with Hush?

 

Hush should be good for phase two. I haven't actually seen Before I Wake yet

 

Hush/You’re Next would be good options.

 

The gore in You're Next might be too much for newer horror fans though. Unless they don't mind that stuff lol

 

I think they've all seen some pretty gory anime, though, but I guess that's not exactly the same thing. idk I'll have to feel it out, see how they react to stuff like Ready or Not

I have an AMC gift card and I don’t have Shudder, so I’m seeing Skinamarink at the theater on Friday. I’m so excited.

 

Yeah having watched it at home, I'm curious to see how it plays in a big dark theater.

Also seeing some insane promo clips for Infinity Pool.

 

My dad just casually mentioned he's seeing Friday the 13th part 7 in theaters Friday and Kane Hodder will be there and I'm like oh way to be a cooler person than me.

 

Wanted something quick last night so I pulled up another Fulci I hadn't seen and went with Demonia. I'm a sucker for mostly all of his stuff I've seen so far but this was definitely low tier. I can see why he later tried to erase his involvement in it. Still some pretty great gore though.
