Killing of a sacred deer…I don’t know the last time I have felt this uncomfortable.

 

I'm so confused, The Lobster, which I haven't seen, and The Favourite, which I have seen, seem so silly, and yet there's this apparently traumatizing film in between? Obviously I need to see more of his work

 

It’s also silly at times but definitely the most fucked up. His bizarre style really makes an unsettling horror film.

it’s my favorite of his films, and I’d recommend Dog Tooth too, that’s a real weird one.

 

Fully expected to like M3gan a lot more, but it was still fun. Glad it's been doing work in the box office

Dog Tooth might be the one that has unnerved me the most. Although it is also the most recent film by Lanthimos that I have seen.

 

Just checked IMDb and he's got something coming out called AND with a pretty stacked cast - Hong Chau, Emma Stone, Jesse Plemons, Willem Dafoe

 

I guess Poor Things, too? unless that's another short film he's working on but it's encouraging that we'll get something anyway
