  1. Don't encourage him!

Whoops I ordered them already haha
Kind of awkward, though: I got 1-3 as a set, then 4, then 5. The only other set I could find is only 1 and 5.
I've only seen the first one.

  2. I used to have the Scream 2 soundtrack cuz it had an unreleased Everclear song on it, and back in the day, I got anything I could my hands on that was Everclear related haha. I didn’t finally see the movie until a year or two ago.

  3. okay so just out of curiosity I did manage to find a set of 1-4 but it's sold out most places and even preowned on ebay is a couple bucks more expensive than what i ended up paying

Just caught the trailer for “Sick.” I dunno..i love Williamson, but as a healthcare worker, I really have no interest in revisiting the early days of the pandemic. I’m probably being wayyy over-sensitive, so I’ll most likely check it out after I see some reviews.

If you’re a healthcare worker, there’s no such thing as you being “over-sensitive”, imo

    Getting my friends into horror!
Phase one - Horror comedies: Happy Death Day 1-2/Freaky, The Babysitter 1-2, Ready or Not, etc.
Phase two - ???: idk some more understated stuff like Let the Right One In, A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night? HELP
Phase three - Seriously scary: The Shining/Doctor Sleep, Midsommar, It Follows/Watcher, Nope, Train to Busan, etc.
Phase four - Bonkers shit: Malignant, Barbarian, The Night House/Resurrection, X/Pearl, etc.

Also a healthcare worker, genuinely hated the whole mask joke at the end of the trailer. probably still gonna watch it, even if I think I’m gonna hate large parts of it

Just watched original Evil Dead for the first time after only seeing the remake. What a campy, fun time and good use of low budget effects. Can’t wait to check out the 2nd one later this week!

Maybe Blackcoat's Daughter and Saint Maud for phase two? They have some brief intense moments but I'd definitely say they are more understated. Idk lol

I'm not but I think Joker was overhyped to fuck lol

  16. I'm not over Joaquin and I think Joker is inadvertently pretty good, Todd Phillips be damned

I am curious about the sequel, mostly to see Lady Gaga's portrayal of Harley Quinn

  18. I'd have to check these out, but I've heard good things on here before

  22. I don't know many others on this site that enjoy it (IRL is a different story), so you might not be missing much, but fwiw, it seems to be lumped into this weird group of college dude movies that I don't ever actually see being platformed by the group they're associated with. Donnie Darko (also polarizing) is like that, a film I still consider perfect. Stuff like Fight Club and Scarface are also quite good and worth watching regardless of the reputation they've garnered, which again, I'm not quite sure how that overshadowed the actually quality of the films (maybe just through being pop culture phenom). but maybe I'm just telling on myself.
