    Yeah, Dawn of the Dead is up there, and I say that as a huge fan of the original. Might be my favorite horror film of all time. The original, I mean.

    I definitely liked The Menu, some really bold choices and disturbing moments, but I will also say I could smell Adam McKay all over it lol. Just moments that were a little too cheeky or on the nose. Didn't ruin the movie, though.

    It's tough choosing just five, I feel like I'm being pulled in two directions, with stuff like Doctor Sleep and Train to Busan on one side and stuff like Barbarian and Malignant on the other. I do think I prefer Nope over Get Out, though; I don't think it's recency bias.
