  1. Is anybody else still working on their list? I can wait longer to tally, but just wanted to check! There's a few I need to catch up on as well (Resurrection) but I'm not confident I'll get to them this week.

Only movie I really have left to watch is Scare Package 2 when that drops but I feel like my list will stay as is lol

I’m not gonna rush through the ones I missed, I see a year end list as a reflection of what you saw and others as good future recommendations.

plus I have too many to catch up on lol

  4. Boss gave me a Cinemark gift card, so I think I'm going to catch The Menu after work on a whim! Last day of showings here.

I didn’t make a list but Pearl was my favorite horror of the year.

    Skinamarink probably second.

But I guess it’s too late

  11. Fwiw, it wouldn't have changed anything. There were only two others (myself included) with Skinamarink (it was my #1) because it hasn't gotten a wide release yet.

  14. Cool, looks a lot like mine. The only one I didn't see was Scream and the only one I didn't like was Deadstream.

I know he shot them both at the same time pretty much, but still for Ti West to have two movies in one year be received so well is real cool. Glad to have ya back, Ti!

Wow! Thanks for compiling this @Aaron Mook .. I thought Terrifier 2 would see more love, but at least it made the honorable mentions list.

  21. Maybe try Sissy, it's similar but not nearly as heavy-handed (even though I think that's a feature, not a bug)

Gonna try and watch this with my in-laws next week after the children are sent to bed.

Bodies x3 and Sissy are definitely in a similar language, with modern Internet culture and friendships.

I think Sissy has better focus on character relationships and better gore. But Bodies is funnier overall and more of a mystery which I thought had a satisfying conclusion.

But the Sissy ending is a whole other beast, there’s a reason it’s so high on my list.

Considering all the talk about it in here, I've gotta watch Sissy this week.

Nope is deserving. Jordan Peele is deserving. And I still don’t think I’ve fully grasped that movie haha.
