I know it isn’t horror but fall was fucking intense. I hate heights.

I turned the first movie off after about 20 minutes due to it feeling very gross, but I had a ton of fun with Terrifier 2. The acting was actually a pretty decent and the story was very enjoyable. It definitely stretched my limits as far as gore goes, but I found Art the Clown to be genuinely unsettling and have always enjoyed his look. Very happy to see the moving doing so well in theaters and excited to see what they can do with a higher budget in the future.

Just got back from a screening of All Jacked Up and Full of Worms, which was an absolutely wild watch.

Dudes. I’m trying to think of a movie or show in which someone was dead and they dress them up cover them in sunglasses and such and put them in a car. And someone comes up to them and asks what’s with their friend? Any ideas? Not Bernie’s.

Just turned on Smile and one of the first scenes has a cute cat that looks just like my boy Kylo. Not sure if I can continue watching.

I loved episode 9. I have mixed feelings on the finale but ultimately I think I actually kinda like it haha. I see how it can be divisive, though.

Onward to season 2! ...Maybe not right away. Might want to switch gears and watch something else for a bit.

  17. Thinking Watcher and The Mummy (99) tonight, maybe a Final Destination flick (3 or 5). Although if I don't have three movies in me, I really ought to start Cabinet of Curiosities. Hearing great things from friends.

Consenting Adults and Terrifier 2 with some friends tomorrow. Do I need to know/remember anything from the first film?

First film didn’t have much of a story. Everything you need to know will be explained right away.

narrowed it down to a movie where a guy is on a motorcycle and someone unconscious/dead is taped on his back and the body had the motorcycle helmet on. Someone tells the driver he should wear a helmet Thinking it might not be a horror movie now

  20. Just had a thought, other than Afflicted I can't think of any Asian led English language horror movies

I wish it was a lead role... or a movie lol but did you ever watch the exorcist TV show? It's really good and John cho is prominent in season 2 and he makes it very delightful and an improvement imo on an already strong first season.

This also reminded me that John cho was in the remake of the grudge movie a few years ago that I completely forgot existed until now but I don't remember it enough to know if he was a lead or who the other actors are oop.

But I think you're right none rly come to mind

this is probably the wrong thread (hell idk if there's a right thread!) but I just watched Under the Silver Lake. DRM's follow-up to It Follows and uh. that was a movie alright, genuinely unsure if I loved or despised it
