Fuck, does anyone know if/when Psycho Goreman is going to hit Shudder? Didn't realize it hit VOD today and am seriously considering renting it (along with Promising Young Woman), but not if it's going to hit streaming later this month or something

Downloaded it today. Pumped to watch tonight.

 

I'm 30 minutes into it right now. It's stupid but kind of amazing? It's like if the original Power Rangers movie was gory and didn't have any Power Rangers in it, haha. There's been some laugh out loud moments though so far, and the practical effects have been pretty solid.

Mimi reminds me a lot of Helga from Hey Arnold. I've been expecting her to say "Move it, football head!" this whole time, haha.

 

Sounds about what I'm expecting/hoping for

 

The Castle Freak remake is sorta good (gore/effects) and sorta bad (dude that played Professor is the worst actor I've seen in a minute, cardboard characters). The way they flipped the most infamous scene from the original is fucking wild.

watched Black Bear tonight, with Aubrey Plaza. extremely unsettling and painful film to watch, but I think it was very good too

 

Don’t Panic was a lot of fun

 

The Cell is visually stunning and the costumes are breathtaking, but I wish the story was more original.

toad road was not for me

 

The follow up the director from The Cell did is beautiful but the movie was a confusing mess.
