I just finished and still don’t know. Plus about 400% more birth than I was expecting

 

Ex Machina and Annihilation are "better" but I thoroughly enjoyed being confused by Men despite its themes/politics being a little superficial even when taken as allegory

 

New nightmare is the best nightmare. Freddy is a gangster in that lol

 

New Nightmare might top the original for me. at the very least it's in the conversation. the final act is a bit underwhelming unfortunately but everything up until then absolutely rules, and Langenkamp is phenomenal in it

it's a very YMMV movie from what I've seen, I absolutely love it though. just an intense experience from start to end

 

I don’t remember a whole lot about As Above So Below, but I checked and I gave it three stars so I guess I liked it enough

 

Visited the Halloween 78 locations today in Pasadena and my heart is full as they say

 

Saw Evil Dead (82) and Terrifier 2 as a double feature at his drive in this weekend. T2 was so good. Those kills were top notch. Anyone that stayed through the credits explain what happened? The audio from the FM station was softer for some reason. I think the announcer didn't realize there was a credit scene as he was talking mid credits directing people out, etc.

 

Ohhh I need to see that! Yeah. if anyone has that on their Plex please let me watch haha

Just watched Slither for the first time, it's pretty dope. I did not expect the effects to be so gnarly, I've been avoiding Society, but can't imagine it's that much grosser.

 

Hahaha oh man…Society may just surprise you.

 

Not horror, the Curse of Bridge Hollow is really a cute Halloween movie on Netflix. Reminds me of Goosebumps. Cast has Marlon Wayans, Kelly Rowland, Lauren Lapkus, and Priah Ferguson from Stranger Things.

 

Agree Curse of Bridge Hollow is great Halloween fun, not quite on par with Hubie but might be better than Goosebumps.

Internet was being worked on so I had to pick a DVD and didn't realize I had the Halloween 2 TV cut. I love '80s and '90s made for TV movies and with the aspect ratio, gore and nudity cut, and more dialog and characterization this feels like a really fun seasonal one you would see back in the day. Kinda loving it.

 

Yup, I liked Bridge Hollow a lot. Goofy, fun Halloween fun. I’ll take all of that I can get

 

I mean nothing is better than Hubie Halloween!!!
