Get Kanopy if you haven't already, lots of great stuff on there. Just watched The Host by Bong Joon-ho. Hilarious, horrifying, and heartbreaking.

Man, I JUST rewatched X but I wouldn't mind seeing Pearl. Wonder how long the wait for VOD will be. $20 is kinda steep

 

Tickets have a 9-hour viewing window starting Thursday, October 20 at 3:00pm PDT.

Hoping that means Pearl will be up for VOD this weekend. Probably going to wait until Barbarian goes on HBO Max on the 24th and do a killer double feature of it with Pearl.

Continuing my trend of low tier movies I l love with My Soul to Take.

 

I think I’m in the minority here, but I’m not diggin’ Deadstream at all.. I’m more annoyed than anything else.

 

Did some carving with my fiancée. She did Ghostface and I did the OG Halloween credits pumpkin.

 

I ended up doing Deadstream tonight and liked it a lot. Just a lot of fun and super entertaining throughout

 

I just finished Deadstream as well. It was pretty goofy but a lot of fun. There were a couple legit jump scares too that got me.

I subscribed to Shudder since their annual plan is 31% off, so a year of horror for 40 bucks seemed like a good deal to me.

I checked out Watcher and it was excellent. Maika Monroe in another great horror film.

 

Yeah, I really enjoyed Watcher too--didn't expect much, kind of threw it on as background noise, but ended up completely engaged.

 

Still gotta get to that one. In the middle of Lifeforce now. I love this movie. I'm afraid to watch anything on Shudder this week until I know what Joe Bob is showing lol

Local drive-in is doing a double feature of Evil Dead and Terrifier 2. My girlfriend doesn't know what she's getting herself into.

 

Has anyone seen Terrifier 2?
