Time to sign up for Shudder again. Promo code HORRORHOUND gets you a free 30 day trial even if you've signed up before.

They only have one showing of each tonight and they're both at the same time. Apparently my bf got tickets for Pearl tho but I felt like he was leaning towards Barbarian

This theater thinks we're crazy I know it. I feel like the restaurant before we came here put something in our drinks and we were annoying and couldnt decide on theater snacks. Also a random guy at the restaurant with a guitar not employed by them asked if we were on a date and if we wanted to hear a beautiful song. my bf said no. Then afterwards in the parking lot we heard him say "you missed out!" But we didn't see the man anywhere!! We just heard his voice!

I’d pick Barbarian over Pearl but they were both great, can’t go wrong which is great because I’m really late

  6. Urban Legend 2 is insane lmao a frat party on a plane and gratuitous airplane bathroom cunnilingus in the first five minutes

I love movies set on film sets

  7. Got my booster today and have the house to myself from tomorrow morning until Sunday afternoon, so I'll be ordering pizza and wings and probably trying to get through Game of Death, Reign of Fire, The Watcher, Joe Bob eps of The Prowler and Brain Dead, Crimes of the Future, What Ever Happened to Baby Jane, and Invaders from Mars. Let's go!

  9. I can't necessarily recommend it, but if you're looking for 73 minutes of low brow premise with ridiculous production value (wild score and practical effects, including exploding heads) in addition to, uhhhh, incest (not a spoiler), might I point you towards Game of Death on Shudder. Holy moly. I didn't think they made 'em like this anymore.

I might be remembering it wrong but I watched an interview with TI west and he was either going to shoot it in b&w or technicolor and went with the latter. I’d love to see a b&w cut

I saw Pearl for the second time and brought my wife. She hated X but really liked this.

Pearl and Barbarian are two of my favorite horror movies in years and I’m really excited to see these type of movies getting theatrical releases. Can’t wait to see Maxine and whatever Zach Cregger comes out with next

  19. I remember when I was a kid I was in the room when my dad was watching some movie with clowns. I don't think it was scary, though. More violent, action-y, like The Departed rather than It. The clowns were gangsters or something, like the opening of The Dark Knight, but... a western? I just remember people getting shot and it being very bloody. I've been trying to find what this movie was for years, I think I asked in here before but no luck. Maybe it was a fever dream or something

Y’all how’s Phantom of the Opera ‘89? Kinda want to order just because Robert is in it.

Dead Presidents? Not clown makeup, per se, but this is the only film that I can think of that fits your description.

  22. Nope. Distinctly remember a mountainous desert/western setting, should've probably emphasized that. Does match everything else, though, so good guess.

  24. Haha nope. Wasn't a comedy. Also way too recent. But it's crazy how much that matches my description!
