    Society is fucking great.

  2. From 1989? I thought y'all were talking about a relatively recent movie i didn't hear about

Got this mask in 1998. The quality is great compared to all the new licensed garbage. Figured I’d hang it up on the wall for the season.

  5. Jk that's not The Nun 2

Apparently I haven't been paying attention to the title the five times I've seen this trailer during previews

Thisssss looks better than expected, tbh.

Doing Speak No Evil on Shudder. Heard it’s pretty shocking, so I’m hoping it brings it.

Couldn't wait and already watched it 1 and a half times.

  13. The original is my favorite horror film of all-time, so the fact that a relatively surface-level, Zack Snyder-directed remake from the early 2000s can whip so much ass is extremely impressive

I’ve been very interested in this every time I open Shudder but haven’t committed. Please report back!

Speak No Evil is a slow burn domestic horror, not unlike Funny Games. The third act really ratchets things up and hits you like a ton of bricks. I’d suggest watching something happy afterwards.

Just watched the trailer and definitely got Funny Games vibes at parts. I’m in and will probably be watch this tomorrow

An inconsequential shift as the continents drift.

new Hellraiser looks sick. Bruckner is such a refreshing voice in the scene right now imo

I watched all 5 this year and had a blast doing it. I had only seen the original before.

    My final order was: FD2 > FD1 > FD5 > FD3 > FD4

Although the first will always be iconic and features the most memorable cast, FD2 was definitely the high point for me. It was so OTT with the kills and that opening disaster scene on the motorway is absolute carnage.

I do prefer the original over any other film within the series, but yea, FD2's opener is one of my favorite horror movie scenes ever.

  20. Is it a hot take to say Final Destination 5 is my favorite? After that, I think 2 and 3 are neck and neck. The first is good as well, I just think they went bigger and better with the formula from there. The Final Destination is the only real outlier in terms of quality.

Yeah FD3 tops those films for me too. Just too much gory fun

either phantasm or child's play is my favorite horror franchise of all time

unfortunately the last phantasm movie kinda sucks
