Yeah, looks wild. Probably about time I revisit the first one and see if I feel any differently about it. (I recall enjoying it to some extent and being pretty surprised by the gore in it, but also feeling it was mean-spirited in not a fun way.)

 

I also felt like it was mean in a not fun way, but I'll probably check out the new one.

Exactly how I felt, too! I really didn’t like it.

 

Add me to the list who thought it was more mean spirited than fun. Had a few decent gore things but walked away from it not enjoying it.

Clowns are the one horror thing I absolutely do not fuck with. Also dolls. Two things. No thank you.

 

Was Terrifier the one where she is in a restaurant and he's killing someone outside while she watches? Not sure if I'm remembering a different clown movie.

I have 2 episodes left and I have no clue where this is gonna end up. The 2 people I feel were most likely the killer have been killed/revealed otherwise.

The kills and gore are definitely cool and well done though

 

Reviews for these films make me want to watch them now!!!! Hopefully they find a streaming home soon.

 

Keep forgetting to post in here but me and the wife caught The Black Phone over the weekend. It was ok. Certainly entertaining but some of the dialogue and acting was very stilted.
