  4. Coming to the thread with a huge favor to ask. My old email, which I had no idea everything in my Android was tied to, has unfortunately been wiped. Photos, notes, you name it, including my watchlist. So if you guys have must-watches on particular streaming services -- Netflix, Hulu, Prime, HBO, Shudder, Roku, Tubi -- or even if you have a watchlist or certain films that are on your radar, sharing them would be immensely helpful in restoring my list.

    Thank you!

Hi all - what are some of your favourite cheesy / silly 80s slashers? Watched all of the Sleepaway Camp and Slumber Party Massacre films this week with my partner (my ranking is 2 > 1 > 3 in both cases), and they’re absolutely hitting the spot right now, so keen to find more in the same vibe, if anyone has any to recommend!

I’ve seen Nightmare on Elm Street and Friday 13th, but not much else.

TC2 is the greatest of all time. (And that is a great list.)

F13 VI is a great call, but I would also say VII is worth watching too. VI is superior, but both are great fun.

    Also Night of the Demons!

The unrated/extended version of Evil Dead (2013) is on Paramount+.

  13. Honestly both! I spent like an hour scrolling through Shudder last night and wound up with a much longer list than I had initially lol. Watched The Deadly Spawn (amazing gore/practical effects) and House

Seriously. Any mirrored rooms or hallways. This movie legit freaked me out as a kid and the imagery still holds up and is creepy as hell. It's not given enough praise in my book.

Predator 2 was a mess, but I still loved it. Also had no clue Bill Paxton was in it, so that was a nice treat. Now I’ve moved on to Chucky season 1. Perfect preparation for spooky sZn.

Definitely not good, haha. Not even bad good for the most part. I gotta say though, seeing Gunnar Hansen pick up a chainsaw and remark on how he hasn't used "one of these" in 20 years really tickled me

Any recommendations for something akin to The VVitch?

Looking for some supernatural period pieces with good atmosphere.

Has this world stopped asking what it's thinking?

All this talk of Orphan: First Kill has me checking it out for the original for the first time. I know the twist but I’m excited to check this out finally.

    Edit: Character actress, Margo Martindale!

Update: Yo - this movie was wild. Definitely gotta add O:FK to Spooky Season watching!

    Train to Busan
    Ginger Snaps
    Phantasm
