Well, Underwater had Kristen Stewart and Empty Man did not.

 

Should've been called Underwear-ter given how much the director made her run around in it.

 

Based on Letterboxd, I liked The Empty Man lightly more than Underwater, but at this point, I would probably rewatch watered-down Alien over a movie that is at LEAST half an hour too long. Both were solid with some flaws, choosing between the two would just depend on my mood.

 

I really enjoyed Underwater. Enjoyed Empty Man less so, but I gotta admire it's ambition.

 

Gonna watch empty man tonight.

Absolutely!

 

I've not seen one of them and I see several are on Shudder now

 

I definitely recommend catching the first one and The Littlest Reich.

 

I adore the first one and 2-6 are very fun, schlocky 90s VHS rental fare

 

The latest one was a ton of fun. Tom Lennon is so great.

 

I must be in the minority. Underwater was a top ten movie for me last year.

Never been into the Puppet Master movies.

 

In fact, I'm currently trying to decide between Empire Strikes Back, Jurassic World (doing a series rewatch), Puppet Master: Axis of Evil, and Ghoulies for tonight lol

Underwater was fine. Was fun to see TJ Miller die. Oops spoilers.

 

With Gourley and Rust put their OG Halloween episode into their free feed and them explaining that there’s a face in Michael’s knuckles on the poster just blew my mind.

This is outrageous! I know this has something to do with Pooh falling under public domain, but I'd loveeee to know how Disney feels about this. Do they even care?

 

It looks like You're Next. I'm guessing the connection to Pooh is literally just the masks they're wearing. It being in the title is probably just to turn heads and garner attention which admittedly is working right now it seems.
